Generate tasks

POST /suno/v2/generate is one endpoint and 17 tasks. Each task has its own page below: what it does, which fields are required, and a body you can copy. All of them are async: the response is { "taskId" }, then poll Get Task Status. The same data as JSON is Generate Schema (GET /suno/v2/generate/schema?task=xxx). Examples use chirp-v6. Older names such as chirp-v50 still work and always convert to v6 Pro. Speech is not a separate task. It is task=create with is_speech: true, documented on its own page because the fields differ from a song.

Shared optional fields

Unless a task page says otherwise, you may also send:

`title`	Song title. On `replace_simple`, omit to keep the original
`prompt`	Lyrics or direction. On `create`, a non-empty value selects Custom
`gpt_description_prompt`	Idea text. On `create`, helps enter Simple when `prompt` is empty
`tags` / `negative_tags`	Style, or styles to exclude. On `sound`, top-level `tags` are overwritten
`make_instrumental`	`true` = no vocals. Default `false`. On `gen_stem_two` and `gen_stem_all`, omit means the server sends `true`
`vocal_gender`	`"m"` or `"f"`. Omit = no preference
`max_mode`	`true` = 2× billing. HTTP 400 on `gen_stem_two`, `gen_stem_all`, and `sound`
`use_personalization`	Official My Taste. Effect is not guaranteed
`controls`	`style_weight` 0–1, `weirdness_constraint` 0–1, `aug_creativity` 0–4 (`2` = Normal), `audio_weight` 0–1, `duration` 10–360s (v55 / v6+)
