# Check Account Offline

> Look up whether the account that ran a task is offline

Look up the **account that executed** `taskId`. **Synchronous** — the same response is the result. **No `taskId` is created.** Do not poll `/status`.

<Warning>
  Returns **404** when the task does not exist. Does **not** return the account id. `credits` is a **local snapshot**, not a live official query.

| `credits` | number | Local credit snapshot of that account. `0` when `offline` because there is no account |
